Stitchin’ Mission is:

  1. learning the fundamentals of quiltmaking in five lessons

  2. growing community by sharing quiltmaking with other new and seasoned quilters

  3. praying together and celebrating unity in God across denominations and among unchurched

  4. making quilts for children and/or making a quilt to keep

Stitchin’ Mission is an interdenominational, community-building ministry, teaching beginner quiltmaking in a faith-filled, encouraging, and fun environment resulting in quilts for missions throughout the world.

No matter what denomination you are, we are all on the same team! You are all <daughters and sons> of God through faith in Christ Jesus.                  Galatians 3:26

About Learning Quiltmaking

Stitchin’ Mission beginner quiltmaking classes are designed for everyone... including those with little or no sewing experience.

Five lessons are free. Choose from among four beginner patterns.

You are strongly urged to donate your quilt to the host church’s mission of choice. It’s a beautiful way to pay forward your free lessons.

Fabric and batting are provided, though a $5 donation is happily accepted. Please consider using any 100 percent cotton fabrics you may already have. If shopping is needed, supplies should cost no more than $15.
